¬†Richard Thomas is pleased to be represented by The Lawrence Gallery (http://www.lawrencegallery.net/), nestled in the heart of Oregon wine country.¬†¬†Signe and Gary Lawrence, owners, welcomed Richard Thomas into the gallery with open arms.¬†¬†¬†In addition to the gallery, there is an adjacent wine tasting room.¬† The gallery currently has “Early Harvest”, “The Offering” and “Sun Drenched” on display.

Napa Valley Art & Music Festival welcomes Richard Thomas, Sculptor

It was a very hot July 4th weekend in St. Helena, but the artists and musicians prevailed to entertain and provide visual beauty to the patrons who attended the Napa Valley Art and & Music Festival hosted by the St. Helena Rotary Club.  The Festival opened with a Gala Event Evening on Friday, July 1st and the Festival continued through Sunday, July 3rd.  Nancie Brown, owner of Art on Main art gallery in St. Helena worked tirelessly throughout the weekend with Richard Thomas and his wife, Sheri Ziebell.

Richard Thomas, Sculptor was welcomed by Richard Danskin Galleries at the El Paseo Art Walk

On Thursday, March 3, 2011, the owners of Richard Danskin Galleries, Val and Geoff Douglas warmly welcomed Richard Thomas, Sculptor, and his wife, Sheri Ziebell at the El Paseo Art Walk, in Palm Desert, California.¬† It was certainly a successful evening as over 250 people visited the gallery within a couple of hours.¬† Richard Thomas displayed one of his works in progress¬†which is a sculpture within a frame,¬†usually called a bas (pronounced bah…like a sheep!) relief.¬† As Richard introduced himself to the visitors,

there were lots of interested on-lookers all with questions and admiration for the work.¬† The questions from the visitors¬†varied – they ran from “how do you do that?” to discussing what type of finish or patina Richard will use.¬† A big thank you to Richard Danskin Galleries for the opportunity to participate in the Art Walk!
