Richard’s bronze sculpture, “Grand Opening” Won the 3-Dimensional Category in The American Juried Art Salon


"Grand Opening" We’re pleased to announce Richard’s sculpture, “Grand Opening” has won acceptance into the prestigious American Juried Art Salon’s 2009 Spring/Summer Show.  The work was accepted into the 3-Dimensional division and can be seen on-line at www.artjury.com.  Click on “AJAS Online Galleries”.  The twice-a-year online competition attracts entries from throughout the world.

The Show jurists include:  Lynn Fero, Vice President, CBS, Business Affairs, Television Distribution; Trudi Van Dyke, Adjunct Professor, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, Master’s of Arts Management Curriculum; Charles DeBus, Senior Lecturer in Photography, Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas; Mark Gordon, Associate Professor of Art, Barton College, North Carolina.

Updated News:  We just were notified that “Grand Opening” is the WINNER in the 3 Dimensional Category!  There were a total of six prize winners for the biannual show and only ONE in the 3 Dimensional category:  Richard Thomas’  Grand Opening!!
